Join Moneris as a Senior Systems Administrator focused on Windows Infrastructure, where you will lead the administration, modernization, and evolution of mission-critical enterprise platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. This role owns core Windows Server infrastructure, high-availability platforms, automation initiatives, and operational excellence for production systems.

You will have significant ownership over enterprise infrastructure supporting critical business operations, with opportunities to lead platform modernization, automation, and lifecycle initiatives. Working across infrastructure, engineering, application, and security teams, you'll influence architectural decisions, drive operational improvements, and strengthen the reliability and security of production environments. This role offers exposure to hybrid cloud technologies, high-availability platforms, compliance-driven environments, and advanced automation practices while providing opportunities to mentor team members and elevate technical capability across the organization

Location: You will be based in our Toronto or Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Systems Infrastructure

Posting Type: Replacement Position

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is 106,000 - $135,000

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career – What you’ll do

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Lead Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise platform operations for production systems.

  • Drive platform currency, patching, lifecycle management, and in-place server upgrades.

  • Support Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability environments.

  • Resolve complex production incidents through root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting.

  • Develop PowerShell automation and contribute to deployment and build pipelines.

  • Maintain operational standards, runbooks, documentation, and service support processes.

  • Mentor team members and collaborate across infrastructure, engineering, application, and security teams.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration, design, and support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, equivalent experience, or advanced technical certifications.

  • Deep expertise supporting enterprise Windows Server production environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server high-availability platforms.

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience.

  • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production infrastructure issues.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

  • Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management platforms.

  • Experience supporting VMware virtualization environments.

  • Familiarity with PCI DSS, CIS benchmarks, Tripwire, or payment-processing environments.

  • Experience working with MSSPs and managed security monitoring models.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCED, SC-200, or equivalent.

Vous disposerez d’une grande autonomie dans la gestion de l’infrastructure de l’entreprise qui soutient les opérations commerciales essentielles, et aurez l’occasion de diriger des initiatives de modernisation, d’automatisation et de gestion du cycle de vie des plateformes. En collaborant avec les équipes chargées de l’infrastructure, de l’ingénierie, des applications et de la sécurité, vous contribuerez aux décisions architecturales, favoriserez les améliorations opérationnelles et renforcerez la fiabilité et la sécurité des environnements de production. Ce poste vous permettra de vous familiariser avec les technologies d’infonuagique hybride, les plateformes à haute disponibilité, les environnements de conformité et les pratiques d’automatisation avancées, tout en vous offrant la possibilité d’encadrer des membres du personnel et de renforcer les compétences techniques au sein de l’organisation.

Fourchette salariale : Le salaire de base prévu pour ce poste est compris entre 106 000 $ et 135 000 $.

Vos responsabilités – Votre carrière à Moneris

  • Gérer et assurer la maintenance de l’infrastructure Windows Server dans les environnements sur site et dans l’infonuagique.

  • Diriger les opérations liées à Active Directory, aux stratégies de groupe et à la plateforme de l’entreprise pour les systèmes de production.

  • Favoriser l’uniformisation des plateformes, l’application des correctifs, la gestion du cycle de vie et les mises à niveau des serveurs sur site.

  • Prendre en charge des environnements à haute disponibilité sur regroupement Microsoft et SQL Server.

  • Résoudre des incidents de production complexes au moyen de l’analyse de causes profondes et de dépannage avancé.

  • Concevoir des scripts d’automatisation PowerShell, et participer à leur déploiement et à la création de bassins de données.

  • Assurer le respect des normes opérationnelles, gérer les guides d’intervention, la documentation et les processus de soutien technique.

  • Encadrer les membres de l’équipe et collaborer avec les équipes chargées de l’infrastructure, de l’ingénierie, des applications et de la sécurité.

Qualifications requises

  • Au moins 7 ans d’expérience dans l’administration, la conception et le soutien d’infrastructures système

  • Baccalauréat en informatique ou en technologies de l’information, expérience équivalente ou certifications techniques de niveau avancé

  • Expertise approfondie en soutien dans les environnements de production Windows Server de grandes entreprises

  • Solide expérience pratique d’Active Directory, de DNS et des stratégies de groupe

  • Expérience dans la prise en charge d’environnements à haute disponibilité sur regroupement Microsoft et SQL Server

  • Expérience approfondie en matière de scripts PowerShell et d’automatisation des infrastructures

  • Capacité avérée à diagnostiquer et à résoudre de manière autonome des problèmes complexes liés à l’infrastructure de production

Compétences souhaitées
