Key Responsibilities

AI Platform Strategy & Architecture

Define the vision, standards, and architecture for a secure, scalable AI experimentation platform that enables Lines of Business (LOBs) to innovate while maintaining enterprise governance, security, and operational oversight.

Self-Service Platform Enablement

Design and deliver a self-service platform experience that allows LOB teams to rapidly provision and manage AI experimentation environments through automation and standardized workflows, reducing manual effort and accelerating innovation.

Secure Sandbox & Governance

Establish secure, isolated AI sandbox environments with built-in guardrails that balance experimentation flexibility with security, compliance, risk management, and cost control requirements.

AI Infrastructure & Platform Services

Architect and evolve the cloud infrastructure, platform services, and reusable capabilities required to support AI model testing, agent development, and the onboarding of new AI technologies and services.

Observability & Operational Excellence

Define and implement observability capabilities that provide visibility into platform health, AI workloads, user activity, and operational performance to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.

Cost Optimization & Resource Management

Develop strategies and controls that enable responsible consumption of AI resources, ensuring experimentation remains cost-effective through automated governance, monitoring, and optimization practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Platform Adoption

Partner with business, technology, security, and AI teams to understand requirements, drive platform adoption, and ensure the platform evolves to meet organizational needs while supporting enterprise objectives.

Innovation & Emerging Technology Enablement

Evaluate, onboard, and operationalize new AI technologies, models, and services, ensuring the experimentation platform remains current and capable of supporting future innovation initiatives across the organization.

Technical Skills & Experience

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deep experience designing and implementing cloud-native platforms within Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, and Azure Identity & Access Management.
• Experience designing secure, multi-tenant, and scalable cloud environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, networking, and governance principles.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Advanced experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, environment management, and platform automation.
• Experience developing reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules and deployment patterns.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated platform provisioning.
• Experience implementing self-service platform capabilities and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).

Hybrid/In office

We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements.
