About The Team

At Kinaxis, we believe the future of supply chain lies in smarter, more responsive planning—where organizations can anticipate demand, optimize inventory, and confidently navigate uncertainty at scale. Our Product Management team partners with global industry leaders to embed advanced planning capabilities deeply into supply chain orchestration, driving better outcomes for businesses, people, and the planet. We are building the next generation of demand and inventory solutions—from intelligent forecasting and demand sensing to multi‑echelon inventory optimization and scenario‑based planning—that empower organizations to balance service, cost, and risk across complex, ever‑changing environments.

What You Will Do

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for demand planning and inventory optimization capabilities, including forecasting, inventory positioning, and replenishment strategies
  • Ensure strategic alignment across product teams, partnering with executive leadership to deliver solutions that meet evolving market and customer needs
  • Lead product direction for demand and inventory offerings, including statistical forecasting, scenario planning, and optimization models that balance service levels, working capital, and supply constraints
  • Define how customers plan, simulate, and respond to demand variability and inventory trade‑offs across the end‑to‑end supply chain
  • Develop deep relationships with customers and partners to understand real‑world planning challenges, including forecast accuracy, excess and obsolete inventory, and service‑level performance
  • Engage with senior leaders and customers to shape product direction, prioritize high‑impact capabilities, and ensure alignment with market trends (e.g., IBP, S&OP, demand sensing)
  • Partner cross‑functionally with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance planning capabilities and ensure successful product launch and adoption
  • Define and track KPIs, including forecast accuracy, service level attainment, inventory turns, and working capital efficiency; use insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to executive and cross‑functional audiences
  • Address and resolve complex challenges across the product lifecycle, enabling teams to deliver high‑impact solutions at scale

Primary Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field; advanced degree is an asset
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management within a global SaaS or technology organization, preferably in supply chain or planning domains
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams of Product Managers responsible for complex product portfolios
  • Deep domain expertise in demand planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain planning
  • Strong understanding of planning methodologies such as statistical forecasting, segmentation, safety stock optimization, and multi‑echelon inventory planning
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy from discovery through commercialization and scale
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with experience balancing cost, service, and risk trade‑offs in product decisions
  • Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging executive audiences

Role-Specific Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of delivering commercially successful, customer‑facing supply chain planning solutions at scale
  • Experience leading highly complex product initiatives involving demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and decision‑support systems
  • Strong understanding of how forecasting and inventory decisions impact service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency
  • Experience embedding advanced analytics, optimization techniques, or AI/ML into planning workflows
  • Ability to translate complex planning and optimization concepts into clear, compelling customer value propositions
  • Highly influential leader with a track record of gaining buy‑in for long‑term product strategies that impact business outcomes
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
