Job description
Family Assistant (15–20 Hours per Week) We are a busy, friendly family seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to help keep our household running smoothly and support our two children (ages 9 and 13). We also have a dog and a cat, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable around pets and enjoys being in a pet-friendly home. This is a part-time role (approximately 15–20 hours per week) and is ideal for someone who enjoys both household management and working with school-aged children. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, stay organized, and become a trusted part of our family's routine. Responsibilities: Driving children to activities, appointments, sports, and occasional visits with friends Preparing healthy family meals and snacks Laundry (washing, folding, and putting away) Tidying and light housekeeping to keep the home organized Managing household supplies and running occasional errands Helping children stay on top of routines and schedules Occasional homework support and supervision General household management to help busy parents stay organized We're Looking For Someone Who Is: - Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy - Warm, engaging, and enjoys working with older children - Organized and proactive - Comfortable managing multiple priorities - A safe and confident driver with a valid driver's license - Able to work independently and take initiative Requirements: - Previous experience as a nanny, family assistant, house manager, or similar role - Valid driver's license and own vehicle - CPR/First Aid certification is an asset Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week (3 days), primarily weekday mornings and afternoons Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
