The Professional and Corporate Affairsbranch is located in the Regulatory and Consumer Services division in the Department of Community Services. The branch is responsible for administering a variety of legislation in three areas of focus: health professions business professions and corporate and society registers.
About the job:
The Professional and Corporate Affairs Branch is looking for a detail-savvy driven and collaborative individual to join our team as a Licensing and Intake this role youll be at the center of it all. Supporting regulatory processes delivering excellent client service and helping people and businesses navigate licensing and compliance with confidence.
Reporting to the Manager Business Professions youll handle a variety of time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic public-facing environment. As the first point of contact youll interact with professionals businesses non-profits and the public making a strong first impression while ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately.

Essential Qualifications

- Significant experience assessing materials against established or legislated requirements.
- Experience providing professional accurate client service in person by phone and by email.
- Recent experience maintaining and managing complex databases registers or tracking systems with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience working in a regulatory or compliance-based environment would be an asset.
- Post-secondary course work in business law or administration (or related field) would be considered an asset.
Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be equally considered.
