About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to play a pivotal role within our Legal Governance & Risk this senior advisory position you will provide strategic commercial and pragmatic legal guidance across Calvarys national operations supporting executive and Boardlevel decisionmaking.
You will partner closely with clinical operational and corporate leaders to identify mitigate and manage legal and clinical risk strengthen organisational compliance and enable Calvarys strategic objectives. About you
Are you a legally qualified senior practitioner admitted in Australia and holding a current practising certificate. With 8 years of postadmission experience you bring a strong foundation built in reputable private practice or inhouse roles within complex multisite organisations.
You demonstrate sound commercial judgement with the ability to distil legal risk into clear actionable advice that supports senior leaders and organisational decisionmaking. Your communication negotiation and influencing skills are highly developed enabling you to build trust credibility and productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
You operate effectively in multidisciplinary matrixed environments balancing strategic priorities with operational realities. Known for your resilience and strong judgement you manage highvolume competing priorities while maintaining the quality timeliness and practicality of your advice.
