Job description
Position SummaryThe Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting customers and employees through interaction in person over the phone and via email and for providing support to office team members. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hands-on environment and be comfortable with taking initiative and working with and supporting other team members. This is a temporary role until September 2026. The shifts are Monday - Friday and the wage range is $20 - $23 per ResponsibilitiesProvide superior customer service with a professional and friendly greeting to all customers who call or enter the direct and relay telephone and fax an adequate inventory of office coffee and data entry and other administrative housekeeping duties as the company computer system to enter issues and successes to appropriate superior(s) respectfully and in a timely team members with projects initiatives or all regulations and company policies and as an ambassador of the company with all employees and an emphasis on a safety culture customer service and efficiency as a top duties as and QualificationsA positive can-do attitude is clerical or similar experience is an degree of reading writing numeracy and oral communication skills (speak read and write in English).Strong computer accounting knowledge is an attention to detail.A pleasant phone to problem solve prioritize and manage multiple to self-manage show initiative and be comfortable meeting the be a team player demonstrate attention to detail and have good organizational you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
