Job description
Position SummaryFrom greeting customers as they enter the store helping locate products on the sales floor to processing transactions and returns the Cashier is an integral part of the team. The shifts are between Monday - Saturday and the wage range is $20 - $23.50 per ResponsibilitiesAct as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customersMaintain an emphasis on a safety culture customer service and efficiency as top and assist customers with all point of sale returns and payment on account transactions at the cashier counter in an efficient accurate and friendly phonesMaintain product displays on selling floor in immediate suggestions and recommendations on products and housekeeping duties including cleaning displays and sanitizing high touch areas and and clean countertops phones and and putting away reception as duties as assigned by and QualificationsPrevious cashier experience is an to customer service skillsEffective written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment during peak to work independently and as a to work flexible hours including Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to for long periods of timeBenefits Health benefits - including drug coverage practitioner dental vision disability and life savings (pension or other) are - Company discounts (mobile phone etc.) training programs and opportunities for career advancement group events and you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
