The Jim Pattison Auto Group has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join our Jim Pattison Chrysler Jeep Dodge this role you will play a key part in supporting our Service Department by accurately diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of safety performance and a Service Technician you take pride in delivering quality workmanship and contributing to an exceptional customer experience that reflects our strong commitment to customer : 15377 Guildford Drive Surrey BC V3R 0H9Schedule: This is a full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week. Monday to Range: starting at $36.75 hourly flat rate depending on certification and level of role reports to the Service Manager of the UsA division of the Jim Pattison Group the Jim Pattison Auto Group was founded in 1961 by Jimmy Pattison when he purchased a GM franchise. Learn more about us here: Day in the Life Diagnose repair and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards Perform thorough vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurements Identify mechanical and electrical issues recommend solutions and communicate findings clearly to Service team Partner with Service Advisors to provide updates on repair timelines or recommend additional safety work Conduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections on new inventory to ensure every vehicle leaving the shop is in top condition Coordinate with the Parts Department to source what you need and manage warranty labeling Assist fellow technicians when needed to maintain overall shop productivity Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment at all times Follow all company policies procedures and safety standards Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environmentWhat Were Looking For Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certification or currently in the process of challenging it. Previous experience as an automotive technician is required. Chrysler experience is preferred. A valid BC Drivers license is required including a satisfactory Drivers Abstract is required Able to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
