About the role.
TheSafety & FSQTrainer will be responsibleto facilitateanddeliver training for theonsite FSQ teams andserveas an SME for other departments as well assupportingFSQtraining will include but is not limited to creating and updating training manuals for eachFSQposition developmentmaintenanceand training of SOPs JSAs one-point lessons and training tracking and FSQTrainer will work withFSQSupervisors toobservetraining ofFSQpersonnel and document training performance for each addition the Safety & FSQ Trainer will also be the onsite trainer for all personnelat the Coaldale site who require training in H2S Confined Space Transportation of Dangerous Goods and1stAid and will need to maintain training records and documentation related to these courses and associated certifications. Additional onsite training provided will include Personal Fall Protection (PFP) and Scissor/Boom Lift in order to support other training personnel in the Training Department.
What youll be doing.
- Efficiently administer andschedule onthe job training.
- Manage all documentation related to relevant and required training for employees.
- Developscommunicatesand coordinatestraining plans forFSQemployees in conjunction with their supervisors and adjusts plans when necessary.
- Keeps supervisors informed of all conditions affecting the training process.
- Creates andmaintainstraining materials including but not limited to training manuals SOPs JSAs one-point lessons checklists tests reviews etc.
- Facilitates schedules and documents vendor training
- Evaluates the progress of training andanalyzesthe effectiveness of training procedures and training materials.
- Treats people with respect follows-up on commitments and strives to uphold organizational values.
- Activelylooksand seeks out areas of improvement anddevelopsinnovative and creative solutions to problems with the training process.
- Maintains the confidentiality of trainees trainers supervisors and managers.
- Able to speak clearly in front of large groups and deliver training in an effective manner.

This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP safety and hygiene requirements including restrictions on jewelry personal items and attire while on the production floor. Compliance with these standards is an essential duty of the role to ensure product quality safety and regulatory compliance.
What youll need to be successful.
Language Skills.
Must have the ability to read andcomprehendcomplex technical instructions correspondence and memos such as safety rules operating instructions and technical operation and procedure have the ability to write clear and concise correspondence and present and train on maintenance topics and provide information in one-on-one and group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills.
Ability to addsubtractmultiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and to compute rate ratio percentage and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability.
Ability to apply a reasonablepersonunderstanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written oral or diagram to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Qualifications.
Associated diplomadegreeand/or technical certification with prior leadership experience is experience and/or some combination of college or technical courses and mechanical aptitude with passingscoreon the mechanical job skills test. Demonstrated Training experience would be an asset such as Train the Trainer or otherTraining certifications.

Intermediate computer skills experience with SAPan asset
Work Environment.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions moving mechanical parts extreme heatfumeandairborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals outside weather conditions extreme cold and noise level in the work environment is variable between normal and loud.
