Job description
Position SummaryThe Retail Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership sales and service in the location. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who will ensure the highest standards of safety service and efficiency. The Retail Manager works closely with the General Manager. The salary range for this position is $63000 - $80000 ResponsibilitiesAct as an ambassador of the company with all employees and and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other by example and initiate contact with every customerMake sure all customer complaints are addressed and managed professionally leaving the customer with a positive all aspects of the store retail that all health safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are sales expand markets and promote business to meet given goals within provided sound business in-store employee hours performance attendance and orient and train new cash functions for the storeProvide management with required sales staff and other assigned productivity staff accountable for performance attendance and all staff in the establishment and coordinate work to ensure productive operations at all engagementMake sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and that items are priced the pricing in a products life cycle by taking seasonal changes into Receiving Overstock management Cycle counts and Front-end and in-stock lead for the and QualificationsA broad knowledge of building supplies is customer service skillsAbility to set priorities and deliver results with spirit and results sense of urgency and driveAbility to motivate train and coach others to a higher level of availability based on business needs (including weekends inventory evenings)Ability to set priorities and deliver results with Skills required- advanced Microsoft ExcelHigh energy level that is demonstrated on the sales floor while monitoring and providing direction and listening communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits Health benefits - including drug coverage practitioner dental vision disability and life savings (pension or other) are - Company discounts (mobile phone etc.) training programs and opportunities for career advancement group events and you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
