Communications Advisor

Within a dynamic and collaborative team the Communications Advisor plays a key role in the design coordination and delivery of strategic communications for our clients partners and internal teams. Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Provide writing editorial and communication support to various departments (internal clients) for operational projects (client communications: documents client notices briefs presentations etc.)
-Coordinate all stages of communication projects (design writing approval translation production/layout delivery etc.) turnkey projects
-Write and revise administrative operational and marketing content in both French and English and support the implementation of communication materials
-Participate in the development and execution of communication plans and help build strategies based on best practices
-Participate in or facilitate various communication committees (internal and partner committees)
-Coordinate the review and translation of communications and documents produced by other departments for external clients (training manuals online help release notes forms phone messages etc.)
-Format and design certain documents (PowerPoint presentations training manuals in Word etc.) and ensure compliance with established standards (templates) under the managers guidance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Bachelors degree in communications journalism public relations or a related field
-Three (3) years of experience in a similar role
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
-Excellent writing and translation skills
-Demonstrates creativity and attention to detail
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
-Strong time management and organizational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
-General knowledge of layout and design software (an asset)
-Knowledge of Agile development methodology (an asset)
-Comfort with AI tools and their use in a professional communications context (an asset)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45 000 - $75 000.
