Job description
Monthly Housekeeper Needed – Toronto I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper for a recurring cleaning every 4 weeks. Ideally this would be a two-person team, but I’m also open to an exceptional individual cleaner. My priorities are quality, care, and consistency. I am not looking for the cheapest service. I am looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats a home carefully. Tasks include: • Thorough cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, living areas, and floors • Dusting and cleaning surfaces • Cleaning mirrors and glass without streaks • Cleaning appliances, including the microwave and oven as needed • Occasional fridge cleaning • Washing bed sheets and remaking the bed with fresh linens • General tidying and resetting rooms A few things that are important to me: • Please use gentle cleaning methods whenever possible. I prefer little to no fragrance and do not want strong-smelling products or harsh chemicals unless truly necessary. • I have stone and wood surfaces that require care. I need someone who pays attention to detail, avoids leaving moisture on surfaces, and treats furniture, artwork, and finishes carefully. • I would rather something be left untouched than cleaned in a way that risks damage. • Items should be returned neatly and thoughtfully after cleaning. • Reliability and consistency matter more to me than speed. Scheduling: • Same weekday and time every 4 weeks • I can be flexible on the specific day for the right person • I can let you in and lock up afterward, so you do not need a key Communication: • Text messaging is preferred • Please tell me a little about your experience, whether you work alone or as part of a team, and whether you have references Compensation: I pay fairly and tip generously for good work.
