Print Production Clerk
Be part of a fast-moving print production environment where every day brings a variety of projects and responsibilities. This on-site opportunity combines digital printing finishing operations customer interaction quality control and shipping activities. Work in a collaborative and casual setting while contributing to the delivery of high-quality printed materials and exceptional service.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $20.24.
12-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
On-site work in a dynamic environment.
Location: Halifax Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities:
Operate digital print equipment.
Operate standard finishing equipment including paper cutters bindery equipment laminating equipment and drills.
Serve as the point of contact for customer requests provide estimates schedule work and track production.
Perform basic quality inspections before during and after each production run.
Track and store jobs according to customer requirements for future reuse.
Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes.
Wrap pack label and ship finished products.
Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels.
Resolve basic issues related to production delivery and output requirements.
What you will need to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary technology training or related experience preferred.
6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
Ability and willingness to learn and develop skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Adobe and other relevant software.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain on your feet for up to 80% of the workday.
