Why Your Role Matters:
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team supports Faculty initiatives that strengthen student engagement and enhance the student experience through work-readiness and professional development opportunities.

As the WIL Administrator you will provide high-quality administrative support across Work Integrated Learning courses and student placements. Working closely with students academic staff and external placement providers you will help ensure placement activities are delivered efficiently compliantly and in line with University and government requirements.

The role reports to the Senior WIL Officer (Team Lead) and supports WIL administration across the Faculty.

Responsibilities Summary:

• Provide administrative support across all WIL courses and placement activities ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Act as the first point of contact for students staff and external stakeholders responding to enquiries and providing advice on WIL processes.
• Support placement eligibility and compliance checks prior to student placements.
• Coordinate administrative activities associated with WIL courses including attendance eligibility results processing and documentation management.
• Manage placement allocations within the Placement Management System including allocation of supervisors and academic liaisons.
• Process Education Teacher Supervision (TSUPP) payments accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and follow up incomplete or overdue placement documentation and forms.
• Maintain accurate records and data within Placement Management Systems websites handbooks and intranet resources.
• Assist with system upgrades process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the WIL function.
• Contribute to a collaborative service-focused team environment.

Skills and Experience Summary:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
• Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute positively within a team environment.
• Experience supporting multiple work areas with competing priorities and varying service requirements.
• Strong organisational time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills including experience providing high-quality customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and manage confidential information appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consolidate information from multiple sources while managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems processes and procedures.
• Experience supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience using computer software applications preferably InPlace PeopleSoft Microsoft Word and Excel or willingness to undertake training.
