From large-scale mixed-use developments like Queens Marque to major residential buildings and corporate campuses our construction team is deeply involved in the process working alongside design and development to bring complex projects to those who take pride in how things are built and want to be part of projects that are designed to last The Armour Group Limited offers the opportunity to do meaningful hands-on work within an integrated and experienced Armour Group Limited is seeking aDirector of Small Jobs and Capital Projects to join our the Director of Small Jobs and Capital Projects you will lead and manage a portfolio of concurrent interior renovation and tenant fitup projects (including but not limited to apartment restaurants & bars) typically with budgets under $2 this role you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to a multidisciplinary project team including Project Managers Project Coordinators Site Superintendents and thirdparty general are a clientfocused leader who can adapt your approach to meet diverse stakeholder needs. This role is ideal for an actionoriented professional with a handson style a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and the ability to tailor solutions to clients and project a Director of Small Jobs and Capital Projects youll get to:Lead and oversee all phases of interior related & capital projects coordinating clients consultants trades and internal manage and control project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective projects and determine opportunities for time and cost as the primary client contact managing communication related to scope schedule budget and change to build a strong network and relationships with trades in the prime contracts and subcontracts including procurement negotiation performance evaluation and design and engineering documents to ensure quality constructability and adherence to specifications and project financial performance including cost tracking billings revenue opportunities and reporting to senior health and safety compliance on-site while proactively identifying and mitigating construction risks and and develop project teams while managing multiple projects and maintaining strong relationships with all qualifications include:Bachelors degree in engineering preferable however architecture project management or a related field considered an asset; PMP designation and/or a .3-4 years of project management experience primarily with both commercial & residential interior success delivering projects within defined financial operational and schedule leadership skills with experience supervising mentoring and directing project knowledge of building codes health safety and environmental to read interpret and administer drawings specifications scopes of work and project communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative results-oriented attention to detail and accuracy.
