Job description
Drive strategic research funding as the Director of Research Programs at the Canadian Cancer Society, working in a hybrid model. Lead comprehensive program delivery that makes a significant impact on cancer research. This role requires over a decade of progressive leadership in related areas, focusing on strategic planning, operational implementation, and stakeholder engagement. You will ensure that the grant programs align with the organization's mission and facilitate collaboration within cross-functional teams to advance Cancer research efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Direct the strategic planning and design of grant programs • Implement large-scale investigator-initiated programs • Monitor budgets and compliance throughout program delivery • Lead and mentor a high-performing team • Prepare presentations and develop relevant policies Requirements: • Minimum of 10+ years in senior roles • PhD in a Health Sciences field preferred • Extensive experience in grant programs and management software • Strong engagement skills with diverse stakeholders • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities Join the Canadian Cancer Society and play a crucial role in advancing cancer research. #J-18808-Ljbffr
