Our financial services client is seeking a Business Analyst (5–7 years) to support the modernization of the enterprise real estate platform using workflow-driven systems
Join a leading financial institution delivering a modernization initiative focused on enterprise real estate technology. This position acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to translate workflow needs into clear, structured functional documentation. The role offers hands-on engagement in process design, technology analysis, and system behavior evaluation within a large enterprise environment. The opportunity provides exposure to cross-functional collaboration across a 20-member modernization team.
A key focus of the role is to support the modernization of the platform by leveraging out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities and standardizing workflows. The candidate should be comfortable analyzing how processes should function within the system, identifying opportunities to simplify and align to platform capabilities, and producing documentation that reflects intended system design and behavior.
Contract: 4 months with possibility of extension
Hybrid - 4 days a week, Toronto
Must Haves
- 6+ years as a Business Analyst within enterprise applications in large organizations
- Hands-on experience with workflow-driven platforms such as Pega or similar BPM tools
- Ability to produce functional documentation, process flows, and system-level descriptions
- Background in enterprise workflow analysis and OOTB functionality versus customization evaluation
Nice to Have
- IBM TRIRIGA experience
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models using Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document end-to-end business workflows within enterprise applications
- Translate system behavior into structured process documentation aligned with platform capabilities
- Collaborate with enterprise real estate and technology teams during platform modernization
- Identify opportunities to standardize workflows and leverage out-of-the-box platform features
- Support modernization deliverables by working through modules to understand how processes operate
- Maintain detailed functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background:
Business Analyst with hands-on experience working directly within workflow-driven enterprise applications (e.g., TRIRIGA, Pega or similar), with the ability to work through system modules to understand how processes, workflows, and functionality operate, and document them in a structured and detailed manner.
