Job descriptionHi! We just moved to Toronto from Vancouver, and are looking for an energetic, loving driving nanny in Rosedale Monday to Friday. This is a live out position. We can be flexible on the start date for the right person, but ideally want someone to start in Sept. We are a warm, busy household with a curious 3-year-old daughter (in 1/2 day preschool), happy 8-month-old twin boys, and a friendly 4-year-old dog. Dad works full time Monday-Friday as an executive at an insurance company, with occasional travel and evening commitments. Mom is currently home with the children and values a collaborative, team-based approach to childcare. We’re looking for a capable, proactive nanny who can support both childcare and the smooth running of our home. Our ideal nanny loves babies and toddlers, and ideally even has had experience with multiples. ECE training, teaching experience, or a background in child development is highly valued. We are looking for someone who enjoys partnering closely with parents and communicating openly about the children’s development, routines, and needs. We are looking for someone who will become an important part of our family’s daily life and are prioritizing warmth, professionalism, initiative, and strong communication as much as childcare experience. We are looking for: Experienced with babies under 1 (twins experience is a strong asset) Confident managing multiple children at once Calm, organized, and proactive Warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with young children Flexible and willing to adapt as family needs evolve Strong communicator and team player with parents Responsibilities: Provide attentive, loving care for all three children, with a primary focus on the twins during the day Engage the babies in age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, reading, sensory play) Support our 3-year-old with play, learning, and emotional development Assist with preschool drop-offs/pickups (if applicable) Plan and facilitate enriching activities (indoor and outdoor), including outings to parks, libraries, or classes Prepare simple, healthy meals/snacks for the children Keep play areas, nursery, and children’s rooms tidy and organized Children’s laundry (clothing, bedding, sleep sacks) Light housekeeping to support the flow of the home (e.g., unloading dishwasher, wiping counters, tidying common areas) Running occasional errands (e.g., groceries, children’s supplies) Competitive compensation of up to $40/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
