Job description
Join the University of Toronto as an HR Consultant focused on operations and strategic HR needs. Enhance the effectiveness of human resources through expert guidance and support.

As an HR Consultant within the University Operations division, you will play a critical role in providing HR services that meet the needs of diverse clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of employment policies, recruitment, and organizational change. You will also work on complex HR matters, supporting both administrative functions and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide advice on employment practices and labour relations • Conduct investigations and mediate conflict resolutions • Assist clients with workplace accommodations and attendance management • Maintain and manage organizational job descriptions • Collaborate on HR initiatives and guide junior staff

Requirements: • Relevant university degree and CHRP coursework completion • At least five years of significant HR experience • Proven ability to interpret and apply HR legislation • Proficiency in HRIS and standard office software • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
