The role requires skills in scripting (Python, REST), API integration, system administration, and collaboration with technical and non‑technical teams to drive efficiency and support AI/ML initiatives. The focus is on leveraging automation to improve teamwork and operational clarity. The candidate must have at least 3‑5 years of experience.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow Design & Implementation: Creating complex automation rules (triggers, conditions, actions) for JSM, Jira, and Confluence.Integration: Connecting Atlassian products with external tools (Slack, Teams, Salesforce) using webhooks and APIs.Scripting & Development: Using Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs for custom automation and integrations.System Administration: Configuring Atlassian and related products (workflows, fields, permissions) for optimal automation.Collaboration: Partnering with product owners, engineers, and business teams to identify needs and deliver solutions.Support & Maintenance: Troubleshooting issues, managing defects, and ensuring system performance.Key Skills & QualificationsProven experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and data transformation.Scripting (Python, PowerShell) and integration tool experience.Problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, Tech Ops/Technical Support, ITIL, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise IT environments.Experience with AI/ML concepts is a plus for advanced roles.Required QualificationsStrong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity to define clear solutions.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of software design principles and architecture patterns.Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.EducationBSc/BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full‑time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal core business hours.
