Position Description:
We are seeking a Senior clinical applications lead to support large-scale CIS/EHR transformation planning, application inventory, rationalization, roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, and operational teams
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead clinical applications activities for CIS/EHR transformation, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Conduct application inventory, rationalization, gap analysis, and impact assessments across clinical systems.
• Develop clinical application roadmaps, transition strategies, and future-state recommendations.
• Engage clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and build alignment.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to support planning, decision-making, and transformation activities.
• Assess impacts to clinical workflows, ancillary applications, integrations, and operational processes.
• Lead project teams and workstreams, ensuring delivery of key milestones and recommendations.
• Support governance, executive reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and technology teams to align clinical application strategies with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for application consolidation, standardization, and optimization
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of hospital-based clinical application experience
• Experience with CIS/EHR transformations, upgrades, consolidations, or large application modernization initiatives
• 4+ years in application inventory, gap analysis, impact assessment, or rationalization
• 4+ years leading project teams or workstreams
• Strong stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, and operational groups
• Experience with ancillary clinical applications and application roadmaps preferred.
