The IDP combines practical, hands-on business experience with a customized learning plan, formal coaching, mentorship, community involvement and professional networking.

In this Toronto-based role, you’ll kickstart your career by rotating through up to four different teams within our HR Learning function. You’ll work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop learning solutions that drive business results and support the development of RBC’s people.

What will you do?

  • Over a two-year period, you will complete rotations across different HR Learning teams, taking on group and individual projects while building expertise in learning development, analytics and insights.

  • Associates will also benefit from one-to-one mentoring with a program manager, rotation managers and a mentor for the duration of the program. Through a combination of experience and exposure, you will get opportunities to learn and broaden your personal network across RBC.

  • You will have an opportunity to build your career within a designated business area by applying to internal positions. We will work with you to target new opportunities aligned to your interests, skills, and career development goals.

What you will need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven, capable of identifying and communicating departmental wins and value proposition.

  • Experience with internal communications strategies or employee engagement initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of learning and pivoting quickly.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-have:

  • Strong data analytics capabilities including ability to analyze data from various sources, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights.

  • Ability to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.

  • Experience with reporting and dashboard design tools.

  • Experience with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and analysis.

What’s in it for you?

  • Elevate your career and explore opportunities to grow within RBC.

  • Excel through skill building and access to learning resources, mentoring and coaching.

  • Participate in a dynamic, collaborative, and highly performing team environment.

  • Comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonus, flexible benefits and competitive compensation.

  • Make a difference and create lasting impact on how RBC develops its people.
