We are preparing to open DePaul Hall Enhanced Care in Bedford, Nova Scotia, in October and are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our opening team.

DePaul Hall Enhanced Care will provide high-quality, person-centered care in a modern environment designed to support residents with complex care needs. About the Opportunity

As the General Manager/Administrator, you will provide overall leadership for the home, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and services in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. You will:

• Lead the provision of high-quality, resident-centered services that respect individual choice, dignity, and quality of life
• Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, accountability, and service excellence
• Lead and develop the management team in achieving organizational, operational, and departmental goals
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, policies, and procedures
• Oversee resident and family concerns, feedback, and service recovery processes
• Manage human, physical, and financial resources to support resident and employee satisfaction
• Identify and mitigate operational, clinical, financial, and reputational risks
• Promote the home and its services within the community while supporting occupancy and growth objectives
• Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to achieve quality, workforce, and financial goals

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

• Undergraduate degree in a health-related field, business, hospitality, or a related discipline
• Minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience
• Demonstrated success leading teams and operations within healthcare, seniors living, hospitality, or a similarly complex service environment
• Strong financial, operational, and people leadership skills
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change leadership capabilities
• Commitment to quality improvement, resident-centered care, and service excellence

Asset Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a health-related field, business, hospitality, or related discipline
• Experience working with older adults in long-term care, enhanced care, or seniors living environments
• Diploma in Gerontology
• Active participation in relevant professional associations and affiliations
