Your new role
As Construction Project Manager, you will report to the Director of Construction and take ownership of multiple concurrent projects across an active property portfolio, working in a team environment.
You will lead projects from early concept through topletion, coordinating internal teams, consultants, and contractors while ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety.
You will play a key role in stakeholdermunication, project planning, budgeting, and execution—working closely with Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators to maintain momentum and accuracy across all phases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the full life cycle of multiple construction projects (planning through closeout)
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
- Develop scopes of work, project budgets, schedules, and reporting frameworks
- Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks, and drive solutions
- Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to internal leadership
- Approve invoices, track financials, and maintain accurate forecasts and cash flow reporting.
- Support contract review, negotiation, and interpretation of drawings and specifications
- Ensure health & safetypliance and promote best practices on all sites
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants/clients and deliver a high level of service
What you'll need to succeed
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 2–5 years of construction project management experience (ICI or tenant fit-up preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and project life-cycles
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellentmunication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and collaboration tools (SharePoint)
- Financial acumen with experience tracking budgets and forecasts
- Valid driver’s licence
Assets:
- PMP or Gold Seal (or working towards)
- Experience with Yardi or other construction/project management software
- Familiarity with LEAN / Last Planner methodology
