Job description
Join GEI Consultants Canada as a Senior Engineering Geologist focused on leading challenging projects in Halifax. This role invites you to merge scientific insight with practical engineering expertise, mentoring emerging talent along the way. As a vital member of GEI's Halifax team, you will manage complex engineering geology assignments and provide technical oversight for geotechnical investigations. Your experience will help in defining project outcomes while ensuring effective site characterizations. Additionally, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration and learning by mentoring junior staff. Key ResponsibilitiesLead engineering geology assignments and evaluate geohazards Oversee geological and geotechnical investigations with precision Deliver transparent recommendations based on subsurface data Engage clients and contribute to project planning Support multidisciplinary partnerships across Canadian offices RequirementsDegree in Geological Engineering or related field Over 10 years of engineering geology experience Eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo. registration in Nova Scotia Proven project delivery from investigation to support Excellent communication skills to explain complex conditions Help shape the future of GEI's Halifax practice while making impactful engineering decisions in the community.#J-18808-Ljbffr
