The Opportunity:
The Commercial Transformation Manager – TPM will play a key role in the implementation of Maple Leaf Foods' Trade Promotion Management (TPM) program. Fully dedicated to the project, this individual will represent the commercial organization throughout the design, testing, and implementation phases of the program.
Working closely with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Supply Chain, IS, and our implementation partners, the successful candidate will help define future-state business processes, support organizational change activities, and ensure the TPM solution reflects the realities of how our commercial teams plan, invest, and execute customer programs.
This role requires a seasoned commercial professional with strong knowledge of Maple Leaf Foods' sales processes, customer planning activities, trade investment management practices, and commercial operating rhythms. The successful candidate will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution capabilities, helping bridge the gap between business requirements and project delivery.

Compensation: $96, - $, CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive
The above compensation reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Maple Leaf’s annual short-term incentive plan.
Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
Business Transformation & Process Design
- Represent the commercial organization throughout the design, testing, and implementation of TPM.
- Help design future-state commercial processes, standards, and ways of working, identifying opportunities to simplify and improve current practices.
- Provide sales, customer planning, and trade investment expertise to support key business and system design decisions.
- Support the development of future-state operating processes, governance, and performance measurement capabilities.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate workshops, working sessions, and project activities across Sales, RGM, Finance, Supply Chain, IS, and implementation partners.
- Develop and maintain work plans, schedules, action logs, and project deliverables for assigned workstreams.
- Prepare presentations, recommendations, and project updates for leadership and project teams.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and help drive decisions, issue resolution, and project progress.
Testing, Adoption & Change Management
- Support analysis, testing, and validation activities to ensure the TPM solution meets business requirements.
- Assist in the development of training materials, user documentation, and readiness plans.
- Coordinate change management activities to support adoption across the commercial organization.
- Support go-live preparation, hypercare activities, and issue resolution following implementation.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience within Maple Leaf Foods' commercial organization, including customer-facing sales and trade investment management responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of customer planning, forecasting, trade investment management, promotional execution, and commercial performance measurement.
- Deep knowledge of Maple Leaf Foods' commercial processes and ways of working, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, RGM, Supply Chain, and IS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and insights to support business decisions.
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and organizational change.
- Experience supporting business transformation, system implementations, or large-scale process improvement initiatives; CPG industry and TPM experience are considered assets.
