Job description

Tasks

  • Ensure product compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
  • Manage and complete quality documentation (FAI, certificates, non-conformance reports, etc.).
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Program and operate a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
  • Perform measurements and interpret results using CMM, laser tracking systems or 3D scanners.
  • Process and document non-conformities.
  • Identify anomalies that may impact production or quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (quality, cost, delivery).
  • Maintain up-to-date quality documentation and deliverables in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
  • Apply safety, quality, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Strong knowledge of metrology and advanced measurement tools.
  • Experience in programming and operating CMM (required or strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of measurement tools: laser tracking systems and 3D scanners (strong asset).
  • DEP and ASP in machining (or equivalent).
