Job description
Elevate food safety standards as the Sanitization Supervisor at Clearwater Seafoods in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. This full-time position seeks an experienced leader in sanitation and food safety compliance.
As the Sanitization Supervisor, you will lead sanitation operations, ensuring the highest standards in a fast-paced seafood manufacturing setting. Your expertise in HACCP, GMP, and operational excellence will drive improvements and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while developing a skilled sanitation team.
Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coach sanitation team for optimized performance • Coordinate sanitation across all facility areas • Monitor compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations • Conduct root cause analyses and implement improvements • Maintain sanitation records and ensure audit readiness
Requirements: • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent • 3 years supervisory experience in food processing • Strong understanding of sanitation procedures • Background in HACCP and GMP processes • Good computer skills, especially in Excel
