Loyalty & Co. is a boutique consulting and program management firm specializing in loyalty, gift cards, customer engagement, and revenue growth strategies. We work with leading retailers, hospitality brands, franchise organizations, and consumer-facing businesses across North America to design, launch, and support customer programs that drive measurable results.

This role will support the marketing and communications activities of The Co Group of Companies, including:

• Loyalty & Co. - a boutique consulting firm specializing in loyalty, gift cards, customer engagement, and revenue growth strategies
• The Coatings Co. - a contractor-focused coatings distribution and training company
• Wise Women Co. - a coaching and leadership development platform for women entrepreneurs
• Franchise Strategy Co. - a consulting practice focused on franchise growth and business strategy

The ideal candidate is a marketing generalist with strong design capabilities who enjoys working across multiple brands, industries, and projects. You are equally comfortable designing marketing materials in Adobe Illustrator, building email campaigns, managing social media content, developing newsletters, and supporting day-to-day marketing execution.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, creativity, and working in an entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.

Role Type: Independent Contractor

Hours: Approximately 24 to 32 hours per week

Location: Hybrid (remote and in-office in Burlington, Ontario)

Compensation: Competitive monthly contract fee based on experience, portfolio, and availability.

Term: Initial six-month contract with the opportunity to extend or transition into a permanent full-time role as the businesses continue to evolve.

Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a combination of marketing, design, and communication skills, including:

• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar design platforms
• Experience creating marketing collateral, social media graphics, presentations, brochures, newsletters, and digital content
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klavio, Get Response and ecommerce platforms shopify, webflow and wordpress.
• Experience managing social media channels, content calendars, and campaign execution across multiple platforms
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail - ability to work within bilingual requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with website content management systems such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar platforms is considered an asset
• Experience working with small businesses, consulting firms, agencies, or entrepreneurial organizations is preferred
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a marketing, communications, graphic design, or related role
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple brands, clients, or business units is preferred
• A portfolio showcasing graphic design, marketing campaigns, social media content, and related work is required
