Responsibilities
To give you a clear and simple picture of your daily routine, your tasks will consist of:

Taking full charge of the detailed design of complex ventilation systems and air distribution networks.

Performing thermal load calculations and determining the precise sizing of mechanical equipment.

Developing clear technical execution plans and schematic diagrams for the installation crews.

Analyzing design criteria to propose intelligent energy efficiency and technical optimization solutions.

Ensuring smooth technical coordination with draftsmen, project managers, and equipment suppliers.

Providing occasional technical support to field teams during the system installation phases.

Qualifications
To succeed and thrive in this stimulating challenge, we are looking for an accessible profile that meets the following straightforward criteria:

Education: Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or construction engineering.

Accreditation: Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) with the professional engineer title.

Ideal background: Possess 3 to 7 years of relevant design experience. We are specifically targeting a professional coming from a consulting engineering firm who has the drive, adaptability, and desire to transition toward a specialized contractor environment.

Ventilation design expertise: Demonstrate a solid track record in calculating and designing commercial, institutional, or industrial ventilation networks.

Work tools: Be comfortable with standard office software and common building modeling tools.

Mindset: Show a strong capacity for autonomous focus while demonstrating a natural inclination for teamwork and practical problem-solving.
