This a great opportunity to play a role as we reimagine the talent acquisition function for the largest professional services organization in Canada. This role includes the build out of an executive search function to facilitate the success of Deloitte’s leadership talent strategy more effectively. The role is a combination of high touch senior stakeholder management, direct execution and delivery of executive level hiring mandates.

What will your typical day look like?

This role collaborates, influences, and engages with senior business leaders in Deloitte Canada to shape and execute executive search strategies that will further business objectives. Utilizing deep business & sector expertise, this role will focus on planning, advising senior leaders, manage diverse firm relationships & stakeholder management while championing DEI objectives and leading search delivery strategy. This role will also deliver candidate assessments and due diligence/ referencing, prioritize, and navigate sensitive and confidential details while adhering to firms regulatory & compliance requirements. Staying abreast with the competitive landscape while creating influence in the market and within Deloitte will be key. This role will also manage external search firm relationships.

  • Drive discussions around future of business and trends to ensure that the right leadership roles are in place to help the business meet its strategic objectives and provide advisory services to the Hiring
  • Executive and business leaders on all executive search matters and instill confidence.Maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the firm and external networks to drive key leadership search solutions - understand needed talent pipelines as per industry, offering and marketplace priorities, capabilities and strengths and develop cost effective search strategies to proactively identify future talent needs.
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to plan and execute professional-level executive searches in a matrixed organization. Experience in C-Suite/ executive leadership level industry and talent research and intelligence.
  • Proven advisory experience driving processes, research strategies, identifying talent and providing competitive intelligence to senior stakeholders while working with researchers and project teams.Detailed competency and behavior-based interview assessment with strong communication and writing skills.
  • Managing end to end cycle of the search process from execution to offer and onboarding with high client-service orientation and detail-oriented approach.
  • Create structure and rigor around candidate management and experience and ensure a strong positive experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Engages and leverages third party vendors efficiently and as necessary based on defined governance while maintaining data quality and accuracy.

About the team

Our Talent Acquisition team stretches from coast to coast and partners with key stakeholders to bring the best possible talent to Deloitte. As part of this team, you will help shape how this function drives the executive search methodology for Deloitte Canada from strategy, identification, assessment, acquisition of internal and external executive talent. We have redesigned how best to help drive the growth of our business and this role will play a critical role in our success.

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • 8+ Years of experience in retained search experience or corporate executive recruiting, or a combination of both at Senior > Executive level (Director, VP, MD, Partner, C-Suite)
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrable track record of leading end to end executive level searches (including research, strategy, process optimization) for complex critical businesses and relationship management at leadership level or client facing advisory role
  • 5+ years of experience conducting competency and behavioral based executive level interview assessments

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
