Job description
Become a key technical expert at Bombardier as a Senior Aerodynamicist specializing in in-flight icing and CFD. Your insights will directly influence aircraft design and certification.

In this senior-level role, you will leverage your expertise in aerodynamic CFD and icing simulations over approximately 5-10 years. Collaborate with diverse teams to support design integrity and certification processes. You will be pivotal in executing wind tunnel tests, creating advanced mesh strategies, and validating aerodynamic performance.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform numerical icing simulations on complex aerodynamic shapes • Execute and analyze high-lift icing wind tunnel tests • Develop advanced mesh generation strategies for simulations • Analyze performance under icing for design assessments • Integrate advanced CFD workflows leveraging HPC

Requirements: • Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering with CFD specialization • 5–10+ years experience in aerodynamic CFD and icing • Strong skills in numerical methods for PDEs • Experience with Pointwise and CAD tools • Fluent in English and French, with defense project eligibility
