Responsibilities:Accountable to ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followedAccountable to ensure team members receive training to correctly and safely operate equipment and machines and identify training needsAccountable in team building, motivation and conflict resolutionDirect and assist team members to achieve work goals and objectives Facilitate team meetingsCoordinate manpower at daily meetings Daily communication with Team Leaders on other shiftsAware of hourly targets being met, informing Group Leader of Associates not meeting requirementsProblem resolution escalation, SRI, By-Pass ManagementAware of shipping requirements and reporting downtimeFollow correct protocol to troubleshoot Evaluate and report on parts inventory, production supplies and cycle countsComplete necessary audits: Q/A, 5S, PM's Complete new or ongoing projects (5S, Tools, etc.)Set up and operate production equipment within the teamEnsure first and last off is complete and quality standards are metInitiate and follow up on maintenance repairsEnsure daily Preventative Maintenance logs are completePerform Statistical Process Control checks when necessaryInitiate corrective action and/or continuous improvementsMonitor quality of production parts and containmentAccountable for implementation of new principles and practicesCheck and Balance (schedule, performance and corrective measures)DWI and MOS knowledge and follow throughEnsure work areas are clean, neat and orderlyAll other relevant dutiesSkills/ Capabilities:Personal SkillsContinuous learningInitiative and adaptability to changeSelf confidenceHonesty and integrityPlanning and organizingResults orientedLeadership skillsGood communication skillsGood judgement and problem solvingEffective teambuilding and team work oriented attitudeTechnical CompetenciesFamiliar with Marwood Processes and proceduresPlex and computer skillsKey Requirements:2 - 5 years related experiencePrevious experience in Stamping/Press OperationGrade 12 or GED Marwood is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive company culture.
