HR Coordinator - 6 months (part-time)

About the Opportunity

• Act as primary HR contact for employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and grievance handling in a unionized environment.
• Administer and interpret collective agreement provisions and support labour relations processes.
  Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding across the organization.
• Administer bi-weekly payroll, benefits, pension (OMERS), leaves, and HRIS data management.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, collective agreement requirements, and organizational HR policies.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and mandatory compliance training programs.
• Support workforce planning, employee engagement, and HR reporting for leadership and board-level stakeholders.

About You

• Post-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• CHRP required HRPA membership in good standing.
• 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a coordinator/generalist role.
• Strong experience in a unionized environment (labour relations, grievances, collective agreement administration).
• Payroll experience required; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
• Experience in non-profit/public sector or community services environment is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHSA, OHRC, Labour Relations Act, Pay Equity Act).
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay Range
$25 - $30 / hour
