- Compensation (salary and bonus). A Base salary of $65, annually 5% bonus annually
Reporting to the Head of Sales – Eastern Canada, you will be responsible for:
Sales Support & Quotation Management
- Prepare, review, and manage customer quotations, tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and government bid submissions.
- Ensure all quotations are accurate, competitive, profitable, and aligned with company pricing strategies and margin objectives.
- Review customer specifications and bid documents to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to understand customer needs and develop winning proposals.
- Partner with Product Management, Pricing, Purchasing, and Sales Operations to gather required information for quotations.
- Manage and track quotation deadlines to ensure timely submission.
- Monitor outstanding quotations and follow up to support conversion and revenue growth.
- Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries related to pricing, product specifications, and order details.
- Support contract renewals, pricing updates, and customer-specific agreements.
- Contribute to strategic pricing recommendations for key opportunities.
Documentation & Process Management - Maintain and enhance a centralized quotation and bid management library.
- Update and manage quotation templates, pricing history, and customer-specific pricing records.
- Maintain documentation related to government bids, submission requirements, and standard terms and conditions.
- Ensure all quotation records are accurately documented and stored within company systems.
- Support pricing data integrity and database maintenance initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and improve product cross-reference tools to enhance quotation accuracy and sales opportunities.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline quotation processes and workflows.
Market Intelligence & Data Analysis - Analyze market conditions, competitive pricing, and industry trends to inform pricing decisions.
- Track quotation success rates, win/loss ratios, and pricing performance metrics.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on quotation activity, bid outcomes, and sales opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Sales Managers and leadership to improve competitiveness and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Managers, Product Management, Pricing, Purchasing, Sales Operations, and Customer Service teams.
- Facilitate clear communication across departments to ensure efficient execution of quotation requests and submissions.
- Support sales meetings and strategic planning initiatives as required.
What YOU will bring to this role:
- 2–3 years of experience in quotations, pricing, sales support, tender management, customer management, inside sales, or a related field.
- Bilingual English and French to support sales employees across the country.
- Experience with government bids, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Result-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills and comfort working with various levels of the organization.
