What will your typical day look like?

You will support or lead the financial management of projects throughout their lifecycle, from contract to close.

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monitoring performance, identifying risks, recommending actions
  • Managing billing, revenue recognition, and receivables
  • Providing insights and financial analysis to leadership
  • Supporting governance, contracts, and change orders

About the team

Deloitte’s Advisory Businesses Engagement Financial Services (EFS) practice is comprised of Project Controls professionals who partner with project and program teams to support the financial management of engagements from planning through close.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who:

  • Has a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management, with 2+ years of experience
  • Applies financial and operational concepts to decision support
  • Is a proactive problem solver
  • Provides insights and advisory support to project teams
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Is highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel
  • Has strong attention to detail and works independently
  • Has experience with ERP systems (preferred)
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Is comfortable working with data and leveraging it to drive insights and informed decision-making
  • Demonstrates curiosity in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, analysis, and decision support
  • qualify for Reliability or Secret Security clearance (min 5 consecutive years in Canada for Reliability or 10+ years for Secret Security)

Quebec Locations: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $54,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
