Job description
Become a pivotal part of safety at Phoenix Energy as an Industrial Safety Supervisor specializing in oilfield safety in Alberta and BC. Bring your expertise in H2S management and safety culture to ensure a secure work environment.

This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of 4-5 years of oilfield experience. You will lead onsite safety meetings, operate essential safety equipment, and develop rescue plans for job sites. Your mission will be to educate workers on H2S exposure risks and maintain a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities: • Encourage and promote a positive safety culture onsite • Conduct onsite safety meetings and assess specific hazards • Operate and maintain air trailers and monitoring equipment • Educate and test workers for H2S gas presence • Create and execute emergency rescue plans

Requirements: • Minimum 4-5 years of oilfield safety experience • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract • Current H2S Alive and First Aid Tickets • Competent in confined space entry and rescue • Ability to thrive in adverse weather conditions
