Job description
We are a family of 5 located in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, in search of a caring and responsible nanny to join our household. Our primary requirement is someone experienced with primary school-aged children, and special needs ; as you will be offering support and care primarily for our 2 boys. Our youngest is 8 years and has ASD, he is very active and strong. He enjoys long walks, jumping on the trampoline and water play (splash pad or small pool). His brother is 9 years and is more self reliant. However, he does require toileting assistance and encouragement. This is a live-out, part-time position that perfectly suits someone looking to balance other commitments. Apart from taking care of the children, we need assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure our household runs smoothly. Occasionally, we may require overnight care, so a flexible schedule is a great asset. Additionally, we have a dog, 4 year lab/border collie mix. he is very friendly and likes to help with the boys. We also have 4 cats, who my daughter takes care of. She is 15. She can assist with anything is the house. Some pet care will be part of your responsibilities.
