Areas of Expertise:

Experimental design consisting in the:

• Adaptation of parts or assemblies to specific test requirements.

• Design of experimental test sections.

• Modification of components to measure parameters of specific regions (temperature, pressure, stress, etc.)

• Design of artificial engine environments around test articles.

• Assistance to engine programs to attain their certification.

• Preparation of design reviews when required.

• Support during manufacturing, assembling and testing of designs.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical/operational design and drafting support to the Development Engineering organization.

• Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet test objectives.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience.

• An extensive knowledge of mechanical design and drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.

• Desired experience on CATIA or equivalent.

• Candidate should be organized and dynamic, have good spoken and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
