- Mother’s Helper / Household Helper Needed for Family with Two Young Children We are a family with two young children looking for a reliable, kind, and practical mother’s helper to help us keep up with our home and day-to-day family life. This role is a mix of household support and light childcare. I am looking for someone who is comfortable helping wherever needed, takes initiative, and is happy to work from a flexible task list depending on what is most needed that week. Responsibilities may include : * Laundry, folding, putting clothes away, and changing bedsheets * Light housekeeping and tidying common areas * Kitchen help, dishes, fridge organization, and light food prep * Simple meal prep such as washing / chopping fruits and vegetables * Organizing closets, cupboards, toys, kids’ items, and household areas * Helping with small household projects * Occasional errands * Outdoor tasks such as light tidying of the deck / front area * Light childcare support, such as playing with the children, keeping them occupied, or helping while I am home This is not a full-time nanny role. It is best suited for someone who enjoys helping busy families stay organized and is comfortable with a mix of home and child-related tasks. Schedule : The schedule can be flexible throughout the week, but evenings and weekends will likely be most helpful to start. I am open to starting with two shifts per week as a trial and increasing from there if it is a good fit. Ideal candidate : * Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual * Patient and comfortable around young children * Organized and able to take initiative * Comfortable with household tasks and light childcare * Flexible and willing to help with different tasks as needed * Looking for a consistent role with one family We are located north of Londonderry Mall.
