Job description

The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Program for Active Living Coordinator to join their team.

• Status: Full-Time
• Location: 3030 Singleton Ave, London, ON.

The expected hiring range for this position is $44,000 to $48,000 for Non-Registered and $48,000 to $52,000 for Registered PAL Coordinator. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

To be successful as our new PAL Coordinator, you will:

  • Hold a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behaviour and exercise rehabilitation
  • Demonstrate experience developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying physical and/or cognitive exercise programs based on the needs of the residents
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
  • Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the role

It would be an asset if our new PAL Coordinator has:

  • Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices a Experience and/or desire to provide educational sessions/ seminars
  • Demonstrated experience working with seniors and/or persons with cognitive or physical impairments
  • Experience working in the retirement and long-term care sector (eg. School placement)
