Job description
Embark on an exciting journey as a Structural Engineering Intern in Kitchener, ON, specializing in municipal infrastructure design. This role emphasizes hands-on experience with inspections and structural modeling.Ideal candidates will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, having completed at least two years of study. In this internship, you will engage in various responsibilities, including inspecting construction sites and ensuring compliance with project specifications. You will also assist in preparing critical documentation and control processes.Key Responsibilities: • Use Midas Civil for structural modeling tasks • Conduct detailed inspections at construction sites • Design municipal infrastructure with AutoCAD and MicroStation • Review shop drawings meticulously • Document site conditions and contractor performanceRequirements: • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering • Completion of 2 years of relevant academic study • Interest in fields related to Roads and Bridges • Past co-op experience in Bridge Engineering ideal • Experience with structural modeling tools neededPlay a vital role in shaping community infrastructure through this internship by ensuring that design and construction meet rigorous standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
