Job description
The Catholic Independent Schools of the Diocese of Nelson (CISND), hosts six elementary schools, and one high school. The diocese is located in the beautiful Okanagan and Kootenay regions of British Columbia. St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School (Trail, BC) invites applications at this time for: School Age Care Worker/Responsible Adult for after school care Available Immediately At St. Michael's, the goal of our staff is to provide our students the ultimate learning experience in a nurturing and safe environment. The hours required are from 2:45-5:00PM Monday through Friday.Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications: Commitment to Catholic Education Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish Training specific to the role (Early Childhood Educator, Responsible Adult training) Successful Educational Assistant or Early Childhood experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters Ability to work well with children, colleagues, and administration First Aid Training Certificate In order to be considered for any position with CISND, the application must be complete.
