Our financial services client is seeking a Platform Technology Lead (10+ years) to oversee end-to-end platform design, development, and implementation for lending modernization

Join a leading financial institution driving modernization across its digital lending ecosystem. This role leads technology initiatives focused on scalability, customer experience, and regulatory compliance within a cloud-enabled platform architecture. You will collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver robust platform solutions aligned with business goals. The position offers technical leadership in shaping a high-impact transformation across critical financial systems.

Must Haves

• 7+ years in platform development, integration, and management, including technical leadership responsibilities
• Azure Full-Stack experience including CSS/HTML, React / Angular, Azure Web App Services, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL/databases, and REST APIs
• nCino and SalesForce working knowledge within financial services environments
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, API development, and microservices architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps principles and monitoring tools such as Splunk or Grafana
• Understanding of the Canadian banking and payments ecosystem
• Familiarity with SaaS and on-premises infrastructure supporting secure financial operations

Responsibilities

• Execute a strategic roadmap for platform development aligned with business goals and enhanced user experience
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure best practices in architecture, design, and development
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, testers, and architects to drive collaborative innovation
• Ensure platform architecture is robust, scalable, and secure
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project technical requirements and objectives
• Implement and maintain metrics to monitor platform performance, reliability, and user engagement
• Manage external vendor relationships to optimize platform functionality and integrations
