Job description
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Senior Product Manager for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier leadership capacity within the digital product management stream, driving product planning and tactical execution throughout the entire product lifecycle.

As a senior product champion, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering capabilities and macro corporate goals. Operating entirely onsite, you will conduct deep operational business assessments, define long-term product visions, map out agile digital roadmaps, and synthesize complex technical data into actionable insights for senior leadership. This role demands an expert who can seamlessly translate market needs into clear engineering requirements, drive cross-functional alignment, and champion user-centric digital applications that scale.

Location: Toronto, ON

Assignment Type: Onsite (5 days/week)

Contract Duration: 15 months (with potential for extension)

Advantages
End-to-End Vision Ownership: Lead multi-tier digital products from upfront gap analysis and roadmap blueprinting through to high-profile deployment.

Agile Leadership Impact: Mobilize and direct multidisciplinary agile teams, managing product backlogs and sprint plans to drive optimal resource allocation.

Executive-Level Visibility: Act as a central advisory voice, authoring data-driven presentations and analytical reports directly for senior executives.

Cross-Sector Innovation: Gain professional breadth by applying cutting-edge private-sector product strategies within a highly structured enterprise framework.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Conduct business needs analysis on current corporate programs to modernize procedures and implement changes via modern digital products and roadmaps.

Drive initial planning and analysis, identifying critical issues, project priorities, resource requirements, and project scope boundaries.

Manage product execution throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements while defining a clear, strategic product vision.

Translate comprehensive product strategies into detailed functional requirements, prototypes, and actionable user stories.

Define product positioning strategies and evaluate deployment plans to ensure messaging is effectively conveyed.

Team Leadership & Agile Delivery
Lead cross-functional agile squads through business analysis and the structured delivery of new or updated digital systems.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to scope activities, optimize resources, and deliver products with a quick time-to-market.

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners, acting as a dedicated product evangelist.

Establish clear deliverables, manage feature backlogs, and drive product launches alongside public relations teams and executives.

Research, Analysis & Stakeholder Management
Conduct environmental scans to maintain deep awareness of organizational priorities, current industry trends, and best practices across public and private sectors.

Consult extensively with internal stakeholders to isolate operational challenges, identify technical opportunities, and facilitate buy-in for proposed systemic changes.

Research, compile, and analyze complex product datasets to author analytical reports and presentations detailing product line performance, statistics, and success areas.

Partner with third-party vendors and external partners to evaluate collaboration frameworks and technology licensing opportunities.

Direct pilot and beta validation programs for early-stage software features to systematically gather user feedback and execute competitive analysis.

Qualifications
Core Product Management Requirements
Professional Product Tenure: 5+ years of progressive experience operating as a Product Manager, Senior Product Analyst, or identical digital delivery lead within an enterprise ecosystem.

Agile Mastery: Proven experience leading agile development methodologies, defining sprint priorities, managing backlogs, and guiding multi-disciplinary squads.

Requirements Engineering Depth: Demonstrated success authoring Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) with heavily justified feature prioritizations.

Strategic Roadmap Design: Highly skilled in conducting operational gap analyses, environmental benchmarking scans, and creating long-term digital solution blueprints.

Analytical & Technical Acumen
Data-Driven Reporting: Exceptional data profiling and analytical capabilities, with a proven history of compiling descriptive reports, metrics, and business cases for senior management.

User Experience (UX) Centrality: Strong knowledge of customer experience mapping, interactive prototyping workflows, and conducting product validation pilots.

Technology Framework Fluidity: Solid understanding of modern software structures, cloud application delivery, and API integrations to enable accurate technical scoping.

Leadership & Soft Skills
Executive Presentation Facilitation: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with polished ease when presenting complex product metrics to executive steering committees.

Consensus Building & Influence: Elite negotiation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills used to bridge gaps between technical engineers and non-technical business partners.

Deadline-Driven Focus: A highly organized, detail-oriented team player with a track record of managing competing priorities inside high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
