  • Analyze internal and customer quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective action initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies such as A3, 8D, and 5 Whys.

  • Partner with facility managers and supervisors to improve operational performance and quality outcomes.

  • Support facility start-ups, new customer programs, and process validation activities.

  • Assist with installation training and process validation programs.

  • Promote and support Lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and technical support related to quality systems, process development, and operational best practices.

Operating Environment

  • Hybrid work environment based in the Durham Region.

  • Frequent travel required throughout Canada and the United States (up to 50%).

  • Exposure to manufacturing, logistics, processing, and automotive operations environments.

  • Opportunity to collaborate with multiple facilities and cross-functional leadership teams.

The successful candidate will be measured on:

  • Successful execution and sustainment of internal audit programs.

  • Reduction in quality-related issues and process deviations.

  • Implementation and adoption of standardized quality procedures across facilities.

  • Effectiveness of corrective action plans and root cause investigations.

  • Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational throughput.

  • Development of sustainable reporting, training, and process management tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance within an automotive or similar manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing practices, and process improvement methodologies.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs.

  • Working knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques such as A3, 8D, 5 Whys, or similar methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.

Preferred Qualifications
