Job description
Magna Mining Inc. seeks a Cost Management Accountant to optimize our financial performance in Sudbury, Canada. Focus on cost-related activities to enhance operational efficiency in nickel and copper production.

You will play a crucial role in planning, analyzing, and reporting on production costs. This position requires collaborative work with operational teams to ensure efficiency, cost tracking, and alignment with financial goals. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze production costs systematically each week • Provide variance analysis and support for budget preparation • Monitor labor, materials, and overhead allocations • Track equipment and machinery costs accurately • Ensure compliance with company and local accounting policies

Requirements: • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area • Over 4 years of accounting experience in mining • Strong knowledge of cost control methods • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Capability to implement process improvements
