Job description
Join Vestas as a Wind Turbine Technician in Halkirk, Alberta, where your role will focus on maintaining wind turbines and ensuring the supply of renewable energy. This full-time position offers pathway opportunities for career advancement.

As a Wind Turbine Technician at Vestas, you are responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and support to ensure optimal turbine performance. Candidates with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, or heavy machinery will thrive in this collaborative role. Your efforts help maintain sustainable energy for local communities while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct mechanical installations and repairs on turbines • Follow detailed safety procedures and inspections • Collaborate with the team to share best practices • Document operational activities and improvement strategies • Time code all tasks for efficiency tracking

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must possess a valid driver's license • Willingness to work at heights and in varied conditions • Experience in wind energy or similar preferred • GWO safety certifications are an asset
