Job description
Launch your technical career with Cooper Equipment Rentals as a Diesel Equipment Technician. This role focuses on servicing diesel generators and pumps, with a mix of shop and field service duties.

Cooper Equipment Rentals seeks a motivated individual with a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License. You will inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered machinery while providing excellent customer service. The position mainly involves in-shop work, but requires occasional field service support when needed.

Key Responsibilities: • Inspect and maintain diesel generators and submersible pumps • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs • Document all inspections and maintenance accurately • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop • Provide customer support through calls and field visits

Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems • Must own a complete set of tools • Commitment to safety and ongoing learning
